The Sir C.V. Raman Library is the academic heart of Sanmati Government College of Science Education & Research, Jagraon — a dynamic knowledge resource centre supporting teaching, learning and research across all disciplines.
Powered by KOHA ILMS v22.11, it blends traditional scholarship with digital innovation. Students access e-books, e-journals and the ONOS platform — opening doors to a world of knowledge.

Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman (7 Nov 1888 – 21 Nov 1970) discovered the Raman Scattering phenomenon in 1928, earning India its first Nobel Prize in Physics.
